CELEBRATING PAREEN ♡

Today was a very special day for Pareen.  Today was her graduation from St Andrews Preschool!

Pareen and her family have been part of our centre community since Pareen was three years old.   Now it is time for her to go to primary school.

At St Andrews Preschool we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation celebration.

We celebrate the child’s birthday and graduation together at mat time. Parents, grandparents and friends are most warmly welcomed to join us.1

The teachers share some of the special things about the child and goes through the child’s portfolio, following their preschool journey.  We all look at the self-portrait on their very first day and notice how they have changed over their time at preschool.  They also compare their handprint now against the size of the one in their portfolio on their first day or preschool.

Finally, the child is presented with their very own children’s bible which has a special messages written on the inside cover from each of the teachers.

Pareen, we have loved getting to know you.

BELC Heart

Some things that we love about you are your kind and gentle nature. You are always polite when talking to teachers and other children and your gentleness has helped you to make friends easily. We also love how helpful you are Pareen, especially with new children who need a kind friend to show them around at preschool.

BELC Heart We’ve noticed that you enjoy artwork and you can often be found making beautiful, sparkly and colourful pictures at preschool. You love to draw and write you name and you demonstrate how proud you are of your work by showing the teachers and children what you have made. You also enjoy dressing up, dancing and hula hooping! You have become quite skilled showing the other children how to hula hoop too.

BELC Heart

Pareen you are very interested in making presents for your family. Whether it is a picture or something that you have created at the carpentry area, you often say that what you have made is for someone in your family or for others. You also enjoy making kites and you love to try them out to see how high they can fly.

BELC Heart
The character virtues we have seen you develop are creativity in your artwork and carpentry work, generosity in making things for others, gentleness and friendliness with new children, confidence in communicating your ideas to adults and children, and perseverance with tough tasks.

BELC HeartPareen, this is our prayer for you as you transition to school: We pray that your kind and gentle nature will set a good example for your new school friends and they will be inspired to be as loving and kind as you are. We pray that school will be a time where your artistic talents will flourish and that you will find even more joy in discovering your talents. We will miss you Pareen, Jesus loves you!

May you continue to know the joy of exploring and being inquisitive. Never forget that you are special and precious.

Pareen, it was our pleasure to celebrate YOU today!

We are sad to say goodbye to you, but we proudly send you off to your new adventure at school with our love, support and blessing ♡
