CELEBRATING AYSHA ♡

Today was a very special day for Aysha.  Today was her graduation from St Andrews Preschool!

Aysha and her family have been part of our centre community since Aysha was three years old.   Now it is time for her to go to primary school.

At St Andrews Preschool we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation celebration.

We celebrate the child’s birthday and graduation together at mat time. Parents, grandparents and friends are most warmly welcomed to join us.1

The teachers share some of the special things about the child and goes through the child’s portfolio, following their preschool journey.  We all look at the self-portrait on their very first day and notice how they have changed over their time at preschool.  They also compare their handprint now against the size of the one in their portfolio on their first day or preschool.

Finally, the child is presented with their very own children’s bible which has a special messages written on the inside cover from each of the teachers.

Aysha, we have loved getting to know you.

BELC Heart

Some things that we love about you are how compassionate, caring and considerate you are of your friends, other preschool children and the teachers. Aysha, friendships are very important to you and you often can be found ‘catching up’ with your friends and teachers at preschool. You also like making and giving presents at preschool.

BELC HeartWe’ve noticed that you enjoy being creative with your artwork and you often draw pictures and make cards. You enjoy role play with your friends and you offer many ideas and knowledge to your play with others. Aysha, you also enjoy reading books with your friends and you enjoy mat times. And let’s not forget how much you enjoy Rubgy Tots!

BELC Heart

Aysha, you are very interested in imaginary and dramatic role play games with your friends and you enjoy being the leader in these games. You are also interested in artwork, crafts, and pretending to bake in the sandpit. You are also quite athletic and you enjoy the swings, slide and climbing frames.

BELC Heart
The character virtues we have seen you develop are friendliness, confidence in sharing your ideas and skills, loyalty, kindness towards others, creativity in your artwork and generosity with giving of your time and gifts to others.

BELC HeartAysha, this is our prayer for you as you transition to school: We pray that your school journey will be full of excitement and adventure. We pray that  your passion for creativity and imaginary play will continue through your learning journey at school and that you will make lasting and joyful friendships. We will miss you Aysha!  Jesus is with you my friend.

May you continue to know the joy of exploring and being inquisitive. Never forget that you are special and precious.

Aysha, it was our pleasure to celebrate YOU today!

We are sad to say goodbye to you, but we proudly send you off to your new adventure at school with our love, support and blessing ♡
