CELEBRATING OLIVER ♡
Today was a very special day for Oliver at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was his graduation!
Oliver and his family have been a very special part of our centre community . Now it is time for him to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Oliver, we have loved getting to know you.
Oliver, some things that we love about you are your fun loving sense of humor and the sense of purposefulness you have when engaged in learning. You commit to your goals and overcome obstacles in the most creative of ways, enjoying the gifts each day brings, making our day brighter with your big smile and belly laughs.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy playing and learning in many areas, especially the our ‘super fun’ bike track, sandpit, building blocks, dramatic play activities, musical instruments, puzzles, obstacle course, climbing wall, swings etc . You give everything you do your utmost commitment giving it 100%, holding nothing back, furthermore flexibly joining in with peers as games/activities change finding creative and new ways to get things done.
Oliver, you are very interested in how all things work, can work more efficiently or faster. You gregariously explore different roles and finding meaningful learning moments within our Kindy environment. Through various activities you dare to see things differently and find ways to solve many meaningful problems. You love connecting with others and have a great depth of character to engage in meaningful and sometimes funny conversations
The character virtues we have seen you develop are Friendliness, Co-operation, diligence, flexibility, honesty, gentleness, self-discipline, respect, service, tolerance, and to appreciate the beauty of working together as a team, the value of sharing generously your talents and gifts, and most importantly the beauty of encountering Jesus in others.
Oliver, our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school is that you continue to grow and develop into the amazing young person God has made you to be. We know you will enjoy rekindling your old kindy friendships as well as make some great new friends. We pray God calms any nerves so you can really enjoy your first days at school. Remember “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or discouraged for the lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9)
