CELEBRATING JOSHUA ♡
Today was a very special day for Joshua at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was his graduation!
Joshua and his family have been a very special part of our centre community . Now it is time for him to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Joshua, we have loved getting to know you.
Joshua, some things that we love about you are: the gentleness and helpfulness of your heart. You know being a friend means through good and sad and you show great kindness and interest in your kindy friends making them feel welcome, sharing yourself, time, and interests with others, which is a great way to show love and friendship as you serve others and make a difference in their day.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy the best out of all areas, especially the swings, sandpit, and ‘super fun’ bike track. You give everything you do your utmost commitment giving it 100%, holding nothing back, furthermore flexibly joining in with peers as games/activities change finding creative and new ways to get things done.
Joshua, you are very interested in exploring the different roles and finding meaningful learning moments in our Kindy environment. Through art activities you dare to see things differently and find ways to solve problems. You love connecting with others and have a great depth of character to engage in meaningful conversations.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are trustworthiness, truthfulness, caring, commitment, compassion, creativity, courage, consideration, responsibility, reliability, thankfulness, respect, courtesy… and last but in no way least I want to honor you Joshua for your service to others making such a difference to the lives of others as you consider their needs as important as your own, be helpful without being asked, and do everything with a heart of excellence.
Joshua, our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school you will settle quickly into your classroom, learn lots of new and interesting things, and make long lasting and special friendships. May God bless you and may you grow in his wisdom and love.
