CELEBRATING LEON ♡
Today was a very special day for Leon at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was his graduation! Leon and his family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. Now it is time for him to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Leon, we have loved getting to know you.
Leon, some things that we love about you are your endless energy while you are at Kindy and the way you interact with the other children and teachers. Your curiosity about the world around you and the way you enjoy collecting bugs and insects to look at. The way you look after your friends and show new people around Kindy.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy role playing during your day, playing a lot of different characters like dinosaurs, policemen, monsters to name a few. Creating craft at the carpentry table where your imagination comes up with some amazing things. Playing with your friends in the sandpit and being engaged with lots of different activities.
Leon, you are very interested in looking for bugs and seeing how they live and what they do in particular slugs and snails. Riding your bike up at the bike track and seeing how fast you can go without crashing. You are also interested in making and keeping good friendships with you peers at the centre.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are assertiveness, caring, commitment, confidence, creativity, enthusiasm, friendliness, joyfulness, loyalty, respect, thankfulness, understanding.
Our prayer for you is that you have a real feeling of peace upon you as you settle quickly into your classroom and continue learning about our fascinating world that God has blessed us with. We pray you continue to make lasting and special friendships at school and accomplish many great things as you develop to your unique and God-given potential. May you grow in God’s wisdom and love.
