CELEBRATING SOPHIA ♡

Today was a very special day for Sophia at Bethlehem College Kindergarten.   Today was her graduation!

Sophia and her family have been part of our centre community since her older sister began coming to Kindy. Then Sophia began coming at 3 years old :).   Now it is time for her to go to primary school.

At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.

The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time.  The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Sophia it’s our pleasure to send you off to your new adventure at school with our love, support and blessing ♡

Sophia, we have loved getting to know you!

Sophia, some things that we love about you are: Your bubbly personality and your lovely smile.  We love your enthusiasm and that you enjoy being busy doing things at kindy.  You are always running around with your friends and finding interesting things to do.

We’ve noticed that you enjoy baking, biking, messy play and walking around in those fabulous shoes, you have the ability to walk in even the tallest ones with ease!

Sophia, you are very interested in pretty things and you like to make your own. You also like bugs and keeping them safe and protected in little bug houses. You enjoy the process of creating special things with crafts and have used a range of materials here at kindy.

The character virtues we have seen you develop are friendliness, enthusiasm, peacefulness, assertiveness, perseverance, caring and compassion.

Sophia, our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school you will settle quickly into your classroom, learn lots of new and interesting things, and make long lasting and special friendships. May God bless you and may you grow in his wisdom and love.
