CELEBRATING RUBY ♡

Today was a very special day for Ruby at Bethlehem College Kindergarten.  Today was her graduation!Ruby and her family have been a wonderful part of our centre community.   Now it is time for her to go to primary school.

At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.

The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time.  The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Ruby, we have loved getting to know you.

Ruby, some things that we love about you are the way you have grown and taken on a leadership role in your centre. Your ability to get alongside other children and join in with their activities, this displays your friendliness and willingness to get on with others.

We’ve noticed that you enjoy creating perfumes from plants found around the centre and sharing those with the other children and teachers. You enjoy riding your bike up at the bike track and racing with your friends. Creating all sorts of things with the inside resources and finding out what looks good and what goes together by experimenting with different textures and colours.

Ruby, you are very interested in how things work and what they will look and smell like when your project is finished. You are interested in all areas of your centre and enjoy playing with your friends during the day.

The character virtues we have seen you develop are confidence, courage, creativity excellence, joyfulness, helpfulness, justice, sharing, tolerance, patience, wonder, determination, friendliness, understanding.

Our prayer for you is that that as you transition to primary school you continue to grow and development into the amazing young person God has made you to be. That your transition goes smoothly and you make some great new friends and have amazing adventures in your first years at school.
