CELEBRATING ASHER ♡

Today was a very special day for Asher at Bethlehem College Kindergarten.  Today was his graduation! Asher and his family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. now it is time for him to go to primary school!

At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.

The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time.  The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Asher, we have loved getting to know you.

Asher, some things that we love about you are the way you are SO enthusiastic about learning and exploring. We love your mathematical mind which also stretches out wide with imagination and creativity. We celebrate how you have grown to become a kind and loyal friend to others and have a strong sense of justice, empathy and fun. 

We’ve noticed that you enjoy observing the miracles of God’s amazing creation and observing even the tiniest details of the world around you with joy, delight and initiative. You enjoy achieving the plans or tasks that have been challenged by yourself or your friends or teachers to a high standard of excellence. You enjoy sharing your knowledge, learning, and ideas with others and are able to lead and support others to achieve. 

Asher, you are very interested in about insects, bugs, and plants. This has been a non-stop interest of yours and with an amazing thirst for knowledge and understanding you have used all kinds of ways of exploring, learning and experimenting both alone and with groups of friends. You are interested in how things work and why.

The character virtues we have seen you develop are caring, empathy, diligence, determination, enthusiasm, justice, confidence, orderliness, assertiveness, honour, friendliness, creativity and honesty.

Asher, our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school you continue to grow and development into the amazing young person God has made you to be with the spark of passion continuing to be alive in everything you do. We pray that your transition goes smoothly and you make some great new friends. We pray your thirst for knowledge, wisdom and understanding continues to grow along with your gifts of serving and loving others with a great capacity.
