How To Enrol Your Child At Amazing Place Preschool
We would love you and your child to join us. Here’s how it works.
We appreciate that there’s a lot to think about when it comes to finding the best centre for your child. Take a good look around our website to discover both practical information and the beliefs and teaching philosophy that shape who we are.

The next step is to bring your child into Amazing Place Preschool for a visit. Contact Leanne (Head Teacher) or Christine (Administrator) on 07 343 9991 to arrange a time. You are welcome to pop in at any time but by making an appointment we can ensure that we have a team member available to spend some quality time with you.
Visiting our centre gives you the opportunity to:
* Meet our Head-Teacher and friendly teaching team
* Introduce your child to our teachers.
* Help your child experience our centre environment in a relaxed way.
* Join in playing and learning activities with your child.
* Ask us any questions or discuss any concerns.
During your visit to Amazing Place Preschool you will receive our Enrolment Pack. If you would like to proceed, someone from our team will make a time to fill out the forms with you and arrange start dates, fee payments and settling-in sessions.
We require children to have a minimum of two visits accompanied by a parent or guardian before they officially begin. This helps ease your child into their new environment and to have the safety of your presence while he or she begins to build secure relationships with our teachers. We provide up to three visits free of charge.

Teachers' use of te reo Māori is naturally integrated in conversations and in giving directions. Children are developing an appreciation of te reo me ngā tikanga Māori.
Amazing Place Preschool
Relationships among teachers, children and their parents/whānau are characterised by warmth, respect and reciprocity. Teachers place high value on whānau participation and appreciate what they can contribute to centre life.
Amazing Place Preschool
Teachers are skilled at building on children's ideas and extending their vocabulary through sustained and meaningful conversations. Open-ended questioning promotes higher order thinking and risk taking.
Amazing Place Preschool
I like Amazing Place Preschool because I can talk to all the staff about what Logan is learning and what his interests are at Amazing Place. I appreciate the teachers for teaching my son and the great interactions Logan has with each of them. Logan is starting to go to the toilet now so I thank the Centre for helping me with toilet training. I would recommend to others because Amazing Place is a friendly, kind and an understanding environment and their children would love going there. My son enjoys going every day.

"Since attending Amazing Place my child has reached milestones quickly, built confidence and is more sociable. Amazing Place is special for children and families as it is like a whanau. All the staff are caring and supportive."
