CELEBRATING FRANKIE ♡
Today was a very special day for Frankie at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation! Frankie and her family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. Now it is time for her to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Frankie, we have loved getting to know you.
Frankie, some things that we love about you are your thoughtful, observant nature and appreciation of the world around us. You listen carefully to information and process it to form your own thoughts, ideas and actions. We have see you provoke us all to action, like when you heard about Cyclone Pam and asked if we could send some things to help, leading a Kindy response.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy reading books, creative and dramatic play, using all kinds of creative materials to mix, make and create and spending hours developing friendships and ideas. You enjoy listening to stories and telling them through play, art and building. You fully participate in music and movement with dress ups and props.
Frankie, you are very interested in animals and finding out all kinds of information about them, caring for them. You love water and sand, gloop, slime, and paints – tactile and sensory play. You share with us your love for your family and draw many pictures which show your understanding of the world.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are caring for others, taking responsibility, creativity, helpfulness, compassion, respect, patience, gentleness, thankfulness, service to others, kindness, determination, confidence.
Our prayer for you is that your unique gifts and strengths will be nurtured. We pray you will settle quickly into your classroom, and make long lasting and special friendships. We pray that your love for learning and ability to listen not just with your ears but your heart will grow as you face new experiences, people, and challenges. Frankie it has been a delight to have you and your family at Kindy and we pray God’s love and leading every step of the way.
