About Us
My name is Lorraine Schou. I am the Manager of Bethlehem Early Learning Centres Limited. I have been involved in a Teaching or Management role with both Kindergarten and Preschools for over twenty five years.
As a mother of four children and grandma to four beautiful grandchildren it has been my privilege to be involved in an industry that has been developing to the level and quality that we see today. It is my passion to see the company promoting the vision of providing quality Christ centered early childhood education in supportive environments with quality relationships occurring between staff, children and there families.
Bethlehem Early Learning Centre Structure:
Bethlehem Early Learning Centre Limited is owned by the Christian Education Trust which is based in Bethlehem Tauranga. The company is governed by a Board of Directors whose Chairman is Mrs Colleen Fryett.
The Manager, Lorraine Schou has oversight of the day to day operation of the centres reporting to the Board monthly.
Currently we operate four centres
- Amazing Place Preschool –Rotorua
- Bethlehem College Kindergarten – Tauranga
- First Class Education & Care – Tauranga
- St Andrews Preschool – Te Puke
Each centre has its own Head Teacher, Administrator and ECE Teaching Team. The individual centres work closely in their communities alongside children and their families to provide care and education that reflects strong Christian values as well as sharing and demonstrating Christs love.
